Oxygen, Specific Hazards & First Aid

Specific hazard courses should be considered where work places have confined spaces or are using high risk processes or chemicals within their operations.  Oxygen therapy may also be useful while maintaining a casualty's condition or during CPR particularly for work places with large numbers of employees or visitors.  Training in such equipment is essential before being used by first aiders.

Courses include:

• Airway Management and Oxygen Therapy
• Treatment of Cyanide Exposure
• Treatment of Hydrofluoric Acid Exposure

A certificate of attendance is awarded on successful completion of any of the above courses.
