About Stewart First Aid Ltd

Stewart First Aid Training was established in 1991 by Peter Stewart RGN RMN. Peter spent 25 years as a nurse within the National Health Service and he was latterly responsible for first aid training for Greater Glasgow Health Board. Through this experience he identified a need in industry and commerce for effective work place first aid training. His ambition was to: build a company that would deliver practical training directed towards real life working environments and to move away from highly formalized training styles, which dominated at that time, to a more relaxed, informative and enjoyable style of training where all delegates are encouraged to participate.

Sadly Peter passed away in August 2002 and the company was passed to his wife and daughter. They, and all staff within the company, are committed to providing its clients with a personal, tailored and excellence in service where Peter’s methods of training are still practiced, all components of which are seen as key to the company’s success.

Stewart First Aid Training incorporated in 2003 and is now run by the General Manager, Joanna Dunbar who has been involved in the company’s running since its formation in 1991.

Today Stewart First Aid Training Ltd serves a diverse client base, including many of Scotland’s largest companies and the company has grown to now offer in house training throughout Scotland and now offers open courses in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Ayrshire.

Stewart First Aid Training Ltd – Expert Training

All trainers with Stewart First Aid Training Ltd are qualified and skilled nurses and para-medics with extensive experience in the delivery of first aid training courses to a large and diverse range of clients. The delegate numbers on each course are limited therefore ensuring the trainer can communicate with and get to know each student as an individual. Courses are held in an informal atmosphere and all delegates are encouraged to participate and ask questions.

Stewart First Aid Training Courses are always evaluated to the highest level.

Stewart First Aid Training is a health & safety executive approved training organization and as such any new guidelines are immediately implemented.
